the launch
i arrived at the marina at about 7.30 and was aware the trailer wasn't able to go down the slipway for the boat to be launched by putting the trailer in the water... so i went to find my friend who works there and asked him if would be able to have have the boat lifted into the water. luckily they had to us the crave anyway that day s i was in luck. they said it would be about middy when she would be launched so i made some calls to people to come and see her go in . at 9.30 the work yard staff came to me and said they would launch then so i had to chuck everything on board and get towed to the crane (which wasn't far). i made the same calls but telling them to come down A.S.A.P. by the time it was ready to launch everyone was there apart from my parents. by this time i was very nervous and was wandering if the boat would float!! seeing my boat being lifted above me was a strange feeling. as soon as i was safe get on board i rushed in to check the skin fittings and make sure there was no water entering. i found some salt water in the bilge but i think that was the stuff i had got out fully before she went in so we left her in the water and went for walk to let everything settle. when we came back she ............... was ................ afloat
pandemonium by name pandemonium by nature part 2 !!
after getting some lunch and driving past on the other side of the road and seeing her in a layby wasn't my happiest moment. dad and i got a call at about 6 o'clock saying there will be lorry at the boat at 9.30 ish ... we got a call at 8.00 saying they will be there in 15 mins .... we live a bit further away from it than that so we were a bit rushed. when we got there we found out that it was the wrong type so we went home on the way home we got a call saying there was another truck that had been ordered but after some research we realized there wasn't one and we had a very long convosation with a man on the phone deciding on what vehicle we needed. we had lots of convosations with lots of different people and all of them saying they didn't have the right vehicle. when we got home we decided to call it a day and get some sleep until we get the next call. it was all night and no call, the boat had been there for over 12 hours now on the side of a busy road. it was coming up to midday and sill no call at 4.00 ish we had a call from a firm who said they had a vehicle that would do it and they said they will ring us when they are 20 mins away ... we got the call and they said they had the boat on the lorry and on the way down to Suffolk yacht harbour so me and mum jumped in he van and headed down to the marina. when we got there the boat was already being unloaded! the boat was now safe at the marina. :) :)

pandemonium by name pandemonium by nature
we were towing pandemonium down to suffolk yacht harbour (very slowly), the roads were fine just a bit slushy but we gave it a go anyway. the boat and trailer were towing well , every so often a little wobble but they were fine. before starting we were a bit nervous because we haven't had the best of luck when towing her. when dad was bring her home ( i had school) the trailer had a blow out on the back left wheel meaning dad couldn't carry on.... so he called the aa out so he had to wait for them to come with a flat bed trailer, the one they came with we had to which the boat up onto it but as the trailer has an overhang there wasn't enough clearance... so they had to call out a lorry which the flat bed could be lowered right to the ground and then raised. by the time dad got home it was around 02.30am. when we set off we checked everything because we didnt want this to happen again. when we got on the A14 we thought the worst was over, but we couldn't have been more wrong!!!! the same wheel that caused the trouble before had come off . a bolt had sheered and the wheel came flying off (lucky it was a four wheeled trailer) causing the wheel to fly off into the road ... luckily no one was hurt. we called the aa and and they said they would send a similar lorry. at first they said 1hr then it went to 3hrs then 5 hrs so mum , my brother and me decided that we would go and get supplements but when we tried to turn the car on .... the battery had died so we were there and the support vehicle (the car) had ran out of battery so we had to call out our local garage because the aa would take event longer than to get a lorry there. eventually we got the car started and drove off to get lunch and left pandemonium in the layby..

pandemonium
hi guys
pandemonium is a Pandora international, she is 21,10 foot long and will be based on the river Orwell
i bought her as a bit of a project in march and still working on her now!!!
i am hoping to race her in the local club's boxing day and new years day race but at the moment is looking doubtful as we need to get the stantion bases on but this is proving to be difficult, and the racing rules say i cant race without stantion's but i will follow them round anyway even if i don't get placed.
